At
the upper end of the lake meadow we have built a covered
pavilion. The basic pavilion is 25' x 40' but can be
extended on both ends to provide upto 2,000 square feet of
covered space, enough to accommodate 200 attendees. There is
also a movable stage that can be used for wedding rituals or
as a band stand. There is ample parking in close proximity to the pavilion.
The views from the pavilion take in the lake, the fountain
and the wedding island. After the reception the guests can
enjoy themselves with boating on the lake, horseshoes,
badminton, volleyball, disc golf and other field games.
There is also a campfire ring for later at night.
Arrangements can be also made for additional games and
attractions that are listed on our
reunions page.
Pricing for the reception varies according to the number of
attendees. Arrangements can be made for rehearsal dinners as
well.

Reception Package Rates |
The
basic reception package includes the use of the
pavilion, 60" round
tables and chairs, 5 banquet/serving tables,
overhead lighting, a PA
system, a barbeque grill and a barbeque pit,
electric and water supply,
garbage cans, men's and women's porta johns and a
wash sink, and use of
the game meadow, boats, campfire ring and some
additional pop-up tents
that can be used for special purposes.
Usually some members of the wedding party help with
the set up of the
tables and are welcome to add to the decorations. We
also stock some basic decorations for your use.
The following prices vary according to the size of
the party and are
subject to an 11% local tax.

Here is
some additional information on services that you may require if you plan to have an event at Rainbow Lake
Resort:
Most of our caterers can supply a buffet style meal
or a-la-carte
service with wait staff. The wait staff fee is
around $75 per
waiter including gratuities, usually one waiter is
required per
every 25 attendees. Buffet meals such as a pasta
buffet or a
barbeque buffet start around $11.00 per person up to
$14 per if
ribs are included. This includes disposable utensils
and plates and
basic beverages. Other entrees such as blackened
chicken ($15 per),
Beef Stroganoff ($16 per) fresh brook trout ($19
per) vary, but
this will give you an idea what basic costs are.
Wedding cake
usually starts out at $4.00 per person. Appetizers
cost from $4 to
$8 per person depending.
An additional 4 dollars per person will cover for
china, glass and
silverware if desired. See STJ (below) for linen,
silverware and serving
dishes prices. Note china, linens and silverware do
not have to be
returned cleaned. We have had experience with most
